O Camilo isn’t flashy, and that’s exactly the point. The menu celebrates what the Algarve does best – fresh fish, grilled over charcoal, simply served. You choose your fish straight from the counter, and moments later it arrives at your table with golden potatoes and salad. No fuss, no over-complication, just the way we like it.

It’s a family-run place, and you can feel it in the service – warm, efficient, and honest. Whether you go for seabass, dourada, or a big seafood platter, you’re in for the real deal.

Pro tip? Go at lunchtime, grab a table on the terrace, and linger as long as you like. The ocean views pair beautifully with a crisp vinho verde.

Well… let me tell you. I’ve lived here for over 20 years, and I still wake up feeling lucky.

🌷 Spring (March–May): Nature Wakes Up

The almond trees bloom, the town gets a little buzzier, and you start seeing café chairs creep into the sun again. Spring in Lagos is lovely — warm but not hot, colourful but calm.
